Richardson Memorial Library & MOBIUS: Mobius Requests

Looking for a book? This guide can help you find a book not in our collection.

What Is It?

MOBIUS is a consortium of 80 regional libraries with 227 branches that provide access to over 30 million titles. MOBIUS member libraries are located in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. SLAM library account holders may request MOBIUS materials from throughout the consortium.

Requests typically take 3 to 4 business days to arrive for an initial check-out period of 4 weeks. Most items can be renewed twice before they must be returned.

MOBIUS and You

MOBIUS borrowing is available to all current staff members with valid library accounts.
Before submitting a MOBIUS request, make sure that RML doesn't already have a copy by searching the catalog (hyperlink on the right). You can also directly search the MOBIUS catalog (hyperlink on the right).
Once you find the item you want, select "request it".
