Arts in the Basic Curriculum: General Resources

This resource guide provides supplemental resources to accompany the Saint Louis Art Museum’s “Arts in the Basic Curriculum” (ABC) program. ABC is a multi-visit tour program for student groups that offers six themed tours to choose from.

Locating Resources

This page provides links to resources available at the Saint Louis Art Museum, its Richardson Memorial Library and beyond. Emphasis is placed on Open Access (OA) and Open Educational Resources (OER).

OA refers to freely available, digital, online information. Open access scholarly literature is free of charge and often carries less restrictive copyright and licensing barriers than traditionally published works, for both the users and the authors.

OER are freely and publicly available teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license that permits their free use and re-purposing by others.
